About the author
Elliot Perlman was born in 1964. He won the Age Short Story Competition for 'The Reasons I Won't Be Coming' in 1994.
His novel, Three Dollars, won the Age Book of the Year
Award, the Betty Trask Award (UK) and was the joint winner of the FAW
Book of the Year Award. He lives in Melbourne where he works as a
barrister.
