Monash: Remaking the University is the story of Monash University in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It describes both the massive changes to the national educational system during this period and the dramatic transformation of Monash University. This decade was dominated by institutional mergers and of universities taking their business overseas. During this time Monash University more than doubled its size and greatly expanded its role and global reach.
About the Author
Simon Marginson is Professor in Education at Monash University. He is author of Education and Public Policy and Educating Australia and chairs the journal Australian Universities Review.
