Book description
This is the fictional story, told through the eyes of Richard Carney, of a group of men and women who venture for a bushwalk into Wilson's Promontory on a summer day in 1924. During the events of that week their lives would be changed, and two would die.
About the Author
Professor Peter Fitzpatrick is head of the Centre for Drama and Theatre Studies at Monash University. His research is concerned primarily with Musical Theatre. Professor Fitzpatrick has directed seventeen major public productions including the first Melbourne performance of Louis Nowra's Inner Voices. Professor Fitzpatrick is a former member of the Board and Artistic Advisory Committee of Playbox Theatre and a founding member of the Council for Public Education. His dual biography Pioneer Players : the lives of Louis and Hilda Esson was short listed for the Victorian Premier's Literary Award, the Vance Palmer prize and for three other national awards.
