Book description
Insert book description here. This benchmark study examines
the attitudes and perceptions of Sub-Continent Postgraduate students from
four major source countries : India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Over 440 postgraduate students studying throughout the UK, US and Australia
participated in the study and their insights provide a unique, comparative
perspective of what drives the decisions of Sub-Continent postgraduate
students who have elected to study overseas and how they eventually arrived
at their choice of country, institution and course.
The study explores numerous issues including when decisions are made, how
information is sourced, key selection criteria, standards of education and
influencing factors. The results are compared between each of the four
source and three destination countries.
Another related study also conducted by EduWorld is The Asian student of 2000
: choice factors and influences of Asian undergraduates studying overseas.
The collected information from these two reports provides essential background material for institutions when
preparing marketing and communications strategies.
