About the Author
Mr Max Liddell is a senior lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Monash University. His research interests include the functioning of the child welfare and protection systems, young people leaving the care system and voluntary agencies in the welfare state. Mr Liddell is co-author of Young People Leaving Care and Protection (1999).
