Book description
Essentials of Law for Health Professionals 2nd edition builds on the strengths of the successful first edition, and has been fully revised and updated to include changes in legislation relevant to the provision of health care services. The introductory chapters have been expanded to include additional information which makes research and locating legal materials easier. The text format emphasises major points and summaries, and focuses on how the law relates to practice, making logical connections rather than merely stating the law. Incorporating a range of state-based materials, legal issues are identified from the clinical setting through to management and employment.
