Book description
Here, in an anthology as strong as collection drawn from far and
wide, are thirty fantastic stories from Monash University students.
All of them are on the verge: of illumination; of wonder; of love; of
understanding; of adulthood; of death; and sometimes, of the ridiculous.
About the author
Travis De Valle received his 'pen-license' at the
impressionable age of eight, and has always harboured a passion for
writing. He wishes he could better express the wealth of knowledge
and experience that he has gained as an editor of Verge, and
would like to thank all those involved for their unwavering commitment
to its production. Michelle O'Toole, before studying Creative Writing at Monash
University, did a lot of journal writing. She admires the work of
Margaret Atwood and Michael Ondaatje, although her writing is equally
inspired by everyday happenings. Michele hopes that one day she
will capture emotion in words the way Gary Moore expresses it with
guitar. Laura Kerton is currently studying third year arts, majoring in
English and Classical Studies. She has a penchant for tragic
endings and a continuing love affair with London.
