Book description
This report brings together findings from a qualitative study of a group of Monash University's top women researchers. while the study specifically focussed on women's research experiences, the recommendations arising from the findings point to ways in which the resear4ch environment at Monash University could be improved to the benefit of all staff engaged in research.

About the author
Associate Professor Maryanne Dever is Director of the Centre for Women's Studies and Gender Research at Monash University.
Dr Zöe Morrison is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and held a Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford University. She has a background in researching gender equity issues in higher education. She is currently completing a project at the Victori8an Law Reform Commission in Melbourne.
Ms Barbara Dalton is Coordinator, Women's Leadership and Advancement Scheme, Equity and diversity Centre, Student and community Services at Monash University.
Ms Sarah Tayton is a PhD student in the Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies and worked as the research assistant on this project.
