Book description
This newest edition offers lecturers and students the strongest
product in the market. De Cieri and Kramar emphasise the importance of
strategic human resource management (HRM), and the links between strategy,
people and performance. Students thereby understand the relationship between
HRM practices, a company's business objectives and the use of HRM as a means
to create value and competitive advantage.
Readers are kept informed of the most current issues affecting HRM. New and
extensive case studies at the end of each chapter make this another engaging
edition. As exciting are the all Australian video cases that instructors may
use in the classroom - a first for a HRM book in this country.
Human Resource Management in Australia, 3e is academically rigorous
and practically driven. Real world complexities and challenges for HRM in
Australia are covered through local examples and the inclusion of the
outcomes of current Australian research.
