Method depends on browser:

Direct export if using Internet Explorer

  1. Save appropriate citations
  2. View Saved citations
  3. Select Directly export citations into EndNote, ProCite or Reference Manager

    JSTOR and EndNote

  4. You will be prompted to download the records. Select Open
  5. EndNote program should open, choose a Library to receive the downloaded records

Import via filter file if using Firefox

  1. Save appropriate citations
  2. View Saved citations
  3. Select Directly export citations into EndNote, ProCite or Reference Manager
  4. At the dialog box select Save to disk and click OK. If defaults are unchanged Firefox saves everything to the Desktop and the file is named 'citations.txt'
  5. Select JSTOR filter as Import Option. Navigate to and select saved file
  6. Select Import
  7. Check the records in your EndNote library
