Direct export

There is no Direct Export option for SciFinder Scholar

Import via filter file

  1. Mark the records you wish to download. Note that there is a maximum of 100 records
  2. Go to File, select Save As
  3. In the Save as Type dropdown list ensure that Tagged Format {*.txt} is selected and click Save

  4. Records are automatically saved as a text file (.txt)
  5. Exit SciFinder Scholar
  6. Open EndNote and select your EndNote library
  7. From the menu bar, select File, then Import
  8. An Import box opens
    • Import data file: select Choose File and select file from step 3
    • Import Option: locate the appropriate filter ie SciFinder (CAS)
    • Duplicates: select appropriate option from the pull down menu
    • Text Translation: leave option as No Translation
  9. Click Import
  10. The references should now be imported into the library

Note: Check the references after you have imported from the database. Some references may need editing
