Legal Information Institute (Cornell)
This site, in addition to containing information about the Cornell Law School itself and a directory of US legal academia, also provides access to a wide range of Internet resources, including US Government and Agency information, US and international legal documents and commentary, and the archives of law-related discussion lists. Links are also provided to the online catalogues and Internet sites of major US academic institutions. A hyperlinked version of the US Constitution is available.

Chicago-Kent College of Law
This major US Web site, in addition to containing information about the Chicago-Kent College of Law and the Illinois Institute of Technology, also provides access to a wide range of Internet resources related to Illinois, US and worldwide legal information. The Information Center, which encompasses the College of Law Library, the Library of International Relations and the Stuart School of Business Library, provides access to law-related primary and secondary materials on a global scale.

Court TV Law Center
Court TV is a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week, cable legal news network and cable programmer which reports on the US legal and judicial systems. Court TV's Law Center provides access to programme guides, the full-text of court documents and transcripts of legal proceedings, in addition to listings of legal resources and law-related discussion groups.

This site enables searching of US Supreme and Circuit Court Opinions, US Code, US Legislation, and a number of other legal sources.

Jurist
This site is one of a network of four JURIST sites worldwide. JURIST USA is a portal to legal education and information from the USA and around the world. Areas covered include Legal News, Studying Law, Teaching Law, Legal Research, World Law, as well as links to a vast array of information from the worldwide JURIST network. A network-wide search facility and email updating service are also provided.

The 'Lectric Law Library
A virtual law library containing primary and secondary sources of relevance to legal professionals, academics, students and the layperson. Links are also provided to a wide range of law related Internet sites.

Loislaw
Loislaw publishes case law, statutory law, constitutions, administrative law, court rules, and other authority for all 50 states and D.C. plus the 18 most important Federal law libraries. All Loislaw law libraries are exact duplications of the official law.

University of Chicago Law School
This site, in addition to containing information about the Law School itself, provides links to a wide range of Internet legal resources and sites via the D'Angelo Law Library. These include US statutes, government agencies, discussion lists, other University law-related sites, etc. A useful guide, United States Legal Research, is available from the library site.

US House of Representatives Internet Law Library
Provides access to the full text of Federal, State and territorial laws, international treaties and laws of other nations, as well as links to law school library catalogues and services, and directories of law practitioners and academics, worldwide. The US House of Representatives continues to provide full text access to the US code.

Washlaw WEB
This site, maintained by the Washburn University School of Law and Law Library, contains information about the Washburn Law School, as well as links to other online Law Library Catalogs and a wide range of law related Internet sites, including the archives of relevant discussion lists.

Government information

The Federal Web Locator
This site is hosted by the Information Center at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology and aims to be the "one stop shopping point for federal government information on the world wide web". Accordingly, links are provided to all US Federal Government Departments, Agencies and Legislative bodies, as well as to a range of non-Government, Federally-related sites.

GPO Access
The US Government Printing Office online service provides access to the Congressional Record, Federal Register, Congressional Bills, and a growing list of important government documents on the same day of publication.

THOMAS
Maintained by the Library of Congress, this site provides access to US Congressional information, including the full-text of the Congressional Record, and Bills passed by Congress. Full-text searching of these documents is also available at this site.

United States Department of Justice
In addition to providing information about the Department of Justice and its various Departmental Organizations, this site contains an array of links to other Federal Government and Criminal Justice sites, including the White House, Federal Judiciary, and so on.

Federal Bureau of Investigation
In addition to providing information about the FBI and its various investigations, this site contains Crime Statistics data and a link to the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin.

 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the US Intelligence Community
These sites make available a range of CIA publications and documents, as well as information about the CIA and the wider Intelligence Community, with links to the various US Government Intelligence Agencies, including the Department of State, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, etc.

White House
Provides access to the full-text of such White House publications as daily press releases and briefings, Presidential speeches, international treaties such as NAFTA and GATT, as well as links to "The First Family's" Home Page and organizational information about the White House and the Executive Branch of the US Government. A range of "Virtual Tours" of the House and gardens are also available.

Indiana University School of Law
Another major US Web site (see Key Sites above) which, in addition to containing information specific to the Indiana University School of Law, attempts to maintain a comprehensive collection of links to law-related Web sites on the Internet (principally via its WWW Virtual Library - Law), including hypertext versions of legal journals, important primary and secondary materials of local, US and worldwide relevance.
