Loans and information desks at Sir Louis Matheson Library

Loans desk

Go to the loans and information desk located at the library entrance to:

• check out items you wish to borrow
• pick up items you have ordered
• inquire about, or hand in, lost property

Return items through the book chutes located in the foyer & after hours outside the main entrance. Music and multimedia items must be returned to the Music and Multimedia desk.

Information desk

• ask questions and get help from library staff

Readings and Reserve Services

• check out items from the reserve collection
• inquire about items on student reading lists

Music and Multimedia Collection

• check out multimedia items you wish to borrow
• return multimedia items
• ask for assistance with microform readers or other multimedia equipment

Asian Studies Research Collection

• ask for assistance with Asian language materials
• operates Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

Rare Books Collection

• ask for assistance with the Rare Books Collection
• operates Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.00pm (and until 8pm on Thursdays during semester)

Document Delivery Services

• services Monash University staff & postgraduates
• lodge requests for items not held by Monash University Library
• operates Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
