Reserve collection

The Reserve collection contains high demand music and multimedia materials that have been placed on course reading lists. Materials may include:

• sound recordings (CDs, audio cassettes, vinyl records)
• music scores
• CD-ROMs
• videos, DVDs
• kits
• handbooks

Using the reserve collection

• The reserve collection is held on closed access at the Music and Multimedia Collection loans desk.
• Reserve items can be found through the library catalogue or the online reading lists.
• Monash University teaching staff who wish to place items from the collection on reserve should contact Readings and Reserve Services.

Borrowing from the reserve collection

• Reserve collection materials can be borrowed for 3 hours, for use in the library only.
• Loans for class screenings and presentations are to be arranged in advance with Music and Multimedia staff.
