Notes: This publication offers students and scholars a fundamental tool in the field of Anglo-Saxon studies. It produces complete microfiche facsimiles of the nearly 500 manuscripts containing Old English. Each volume in this series presents facsimiles and descriptions of about 10 manuscripts prepared by one or more scholars. The facsimiles are produced from existing film stock provided by the holding libraries. Each description includes a brief compass of the manuscript's history, a detailed list of contents, and a selected bibliography as well as notes on special features and problems.
