Notes: These reels contain films of printed works published in Great Britain to advise prospective emigrants.  The books and pamphlets filmed compose a small but important sample of such literature produced in Britain.  Guides published in London, Bristol, Manchester, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Dublin between 1819 and 1870 have been included.  Most of the works filmed may be found in the Library of the Museum.
