Each publisher has been treated separately.  Each collection contains a new introduction and a guide to the arrangement of the material on the film.  A list of the contents of all the reels in a particular collection is included at the beginning of each reel in that collection.  The archives of each publisher have been indexed, usually in a separate printed volume with the exception of those for Elkin Mathews and George Routledge which are indexed on the microfilm.  Lists of the publications of the firm of Richard Bentley are provided on microfiche, together with two printed indexes.
