Huge response to library customer survey

Monash staff and students responded in force to a web-based survey designed to gauge their views of the Monash University Library service. 

More than 3000 'log-ins' were recorded to the survey; almost double that of the previous customer survey held in September 2000. 

University librarian, Cathrine Harboe-Ree, thanked staff and students for taking the time to respond to the survey. 

"The response was beyond our expectations and will provide quality data that the library can look to with confidence when planning future improvements," said Ms Harboe-Ree. 

Results of the survey are expected to be available by mid-June and will be published on the library's website.
