Monash authors exposed!

Monash University staff who have recently published books are encouraged to look to the library for additional exposure for their publications.

“We acquire an archival copy of every book published by Monash staff members during their tenure and we promote these books on the library website in conjunction with Amazon.com. We encourage people to borrow them from us or to purchase from the University Bookshops or through Amazon,” said Collection Manager, Robert Stafford.

“If people buy a title by a Monash author by clicking on the link from our web page to go to Amazon then a percentage of the cost goes to the library so we can buy more books for the collection,” said Mr Stafford.

“Everyone wins.”

View 2004 publications by Monash authors by selecting ‘resources’ from the menu on the library website and looking under the ‘special collections’ heading.

An archival set of hard copies of publications by Monash authors is also available from the Rare Books Collection service point on level 1, ISB wing of the Sir Louis Matheson Library.
