Due to their smaller size, the Berwick Library at Berwick campus and the CL Butchers Pharmacy Library at Parkville campus, are zoned as quiet study areas. As such, the above guidelines for quiet study areas are in force throughout the building. “These guidelines bring us in line with the majority of other Australian university libraries and will ensure consistency between all branches of the library - something we hope will be welcomed by the 66% of library users who use more than one branch,” said Client Services Director, Wilna Macmillan. “We consider the new guidelines to be fairer and more manageable for library staff and users alike.” More information about the guidelines, and the rationale behind them is available on the library website. If you have any comments regarding the new guidelines please email the library. 25 February 2005 current news : 2008 : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Ask a question Phone +61 3 9905 5054 or use our enquiry services ask.monash for Monash students and staff | ask.monash for visitors, or online chat. |
