PCI full text: periodicals contents index full text
This is an index to scholarly journal articles in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, including some published as far back as 1770. It includes periodicals in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and other Western languages. It provides links to scanned articles, in PDF format, which are growing steadily in number.
The Lancet 1823 to present
The backset of The Lancet is now available online through the ScienceDirect service. Link to this through the library catalogue.
Cell Press and Wiley backfiles
The library now has archival access to the backfiles of six of the journals published by Cell Press via the ScienceDirect service, and Wiley chemistry titles.
JSTOR: redefining access to scholarly literature
JSTOR aims to be a comprehensive long-term archive of important scholarly journal literature, built by over 1700 worldwide participants, including major Australian universities. Coverage includes: the arts, sciences, business, ecology and botany, language and literature, and music, extending from 17th century in some cases. The range of archived journals available to Monash users has been extended through licensing of several new collections - JSTOR Arts and Sciences II, III, IV, and the Ecology and Botany Collections
MD Consult: clinical information for physicians
The MD Consult Core Collection helps physicians answer clinical questions and stay abreast of recent developments by integrating: 49 respected medical reference books; over 71 medical journals and clinics; PDFs available for many Elsevier journals and clinics (dating back to 2002); comprehensive drug information; more than 1,000 clinical practice guidelines; over 5,000 customizable patient education handouts; and more.

EMBASE.com provides access to over 16 million validated biomedical and pharmacological bibliographic records from EMBASE and MEDLINE.
