Survey shows library users more satisfied |
||
| More than 4000 responses to the library's recent user survey have indicated a significant increase in user satisfaction with the library and will guide the way for some major improvements to facilities and services. "The results confirm that we have been focussing our efforts in the right areas and the comments and findings will guide us as we plan a series of refurbishments in branches and improvements to services in the coming years," said university librarian, Cathrine Harboe-Ree. "We would however like to improve our rating compared to other university libraries." Results in summary:
Detailed results, including who responded, key issues highlighted and planned improvements resulting from findings, are available on the Library User's Survey 2005 web pages.
Users were asked "Please give your general assessment of how satisfied you are with the library" by giving a rating from 1 (extremely dissatisfied) – 7 (extremely satisfied). The graph indicates overall increased satisfaction with the library compared to 2003. 15 August 2005 current news : 2008 : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Ask a question Phone +61 3 9905 5054 or use our enquiry services ask.monash for Monash students and staff | ask.monash for visitors and alumni. |
