Loss of access to Fin Review and BRW

The Australian Financial Review and the Business Review Weekly will no longer be available online in full text to library users from1 April 2007.

Abstracts and indexing will still be provided. The publisher, Fairfax, advises that these two publications will be withdrawn from the Factiva database from which they are currently accessed. Currently there is no other suitable online alternative.

The Library is aware of the importance of this content to our clients and regrets any inconvenience caused.

The Library has print copies of these publications with either back issues of the AFR in microfiche or micofilm and back issues of BRW in bound volumes.

Together with other academic libraries we are negotiating with Fairfax for the restoration of online access. We will keep you informed.
