Changes to holds

Beginning this year, holds made through the Library catalogue will be held for collection for seven days, giving you more time to pick them up.

In a further change to increase efficiency, holds will not be processed if the items are already on shelf at the chosen pickup location. In such a case, a cancellation notice will be sent to your Monash University email account.

Library staff process holds just once daily.  If you retrieve items off the shelf yourself, you will be able to use them sooner.
