Improved computer environment for Law students |
||
| At the Law Library two existing faculty computer labs situated in the library have been absorbed into the library IT environment. This means an additional 45 computer workstations are now connected to the library print system and display the standard library web image, eliminating prior confusion with two different systems in the one physical area. Both labs, one on Level One and the other on Level Four of the Law Library, can function as training rooms, but are open for use by students when there are no classes scheduled. In January, 16 new power-enabled tables for laptop users were installed on Levels One and Three of the Law Library in a further effort to improve facilities. A new express printer in the discussion room on Level One has been provided so that students who only want to print can do so quickly. The Law Library opens on Saturdays and Sundays between 1pm and 5pm in addition to being open from 8.30am to 9pm from Monday to Thursday and from 8.30am to 5.45pm on Fridays. 13 March 2009 current news : 2008 : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Ask a question Phone +61 3 9905 5054 or use our enquiry services ask.monash for Monash students and staff | ask.monash for visitors, or online chat. |
