A record 6096 respond to library user's survey |
||
| The 2009 Library user’s survey closed on 17 May 2009 with a total of 6096 responses, placing Monash University Library in the top three of the 38 participating academic libraries in terms of number of responses. The online survey ran from 4 May and included all Victorian library branches as well as the offshore libraries in Sunway and South Africa. “We received a remarkable response rate and I would like to thank all the staff and students who completed the survey. Rest assured that we are committed to acting on the views expressed to improve the Library,” said Cathrine Harboe-Ree, University Librarian. Results from the survey will be published on the library website, along with action plans to address issues raised by users via the survey. Ms Harboe-Ree added that the improvements that have been made in response to the 2007 survey demonstrate the value of participating in this biennial survey.
