Results:
>    Compared to 2003: increased satisfaction with the library (5.29/7 compared to 5.08/7)
>    Satisfaction rating compared to other university libraries: top 50%
>    Highest performing area: staff
>    Most improved area: communication
>    Lowest performing area: facilities and equipment
>    Key issue: only one statement of the 38 produced a statistically significant result that indicates an area where users consider the library can improve: "number of computer workstations is adequate"

Thirty-eight other university libraries in Australia and New Zealand also conduct this same survey, allowing us to compare our performance. Compared to other university libraries the Monash University Library’s performance is on or above the median in most areas, with the exception of facilities and equipment.
