"Have more copies of prescribed textbooks for each subject (for 7 day loan etc)."

"A larger range of reference titles needed at Caulfield, a lot of books are only at Matheson."

  • We welcome suggestions for building the collections
An online suggestion form is available on the library website. Contact librarians work with academic staff and higher degree by research students to develop collections to meet teaching and research priorities.
  • We aim to make course and other materials available in print and electronic form to meet students’ needs
Our purchasing of course materials is governed by our need to develop a balanced collection within available resources. Where available we purchase print and electronic copies to provide maximum access and we have increased the number of 7 day loans over the last two years.
  • We aim to locate materials where they are most needed
As courses move from one campus to another we aim to develop local collections to meet the needs of students. Intercampus loans are also available for students and staff through the catalogue.

"We are constantly ensuring that we provide information resources that meet the needs of students and make these items readily available."
