  • Australasian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition - this site focuses on clinical nutrition and includes best practice guidelines as well as links to research and international sites
  • Australian Breastfeeding Association - provides detailed information about breastfeeding; including supply, difficulties and breastfeeding in special situations.
  • Australian Food and Grocery Council - the Council represents food and grocery manufacturers and the aim of site is to promote growth in this industry. Includes links to consumer issues including dietary guidelines and food safety. Also has information about nutrition and health.
  • Australian Healthcare Association - the Australian Healthcare Association represents public hospitals and other not for profit health care organisations. It seeks to be involved in health policy and the site provides updates about current issues in public health care.
  • Australian Health Promotion Association - aims to improve health promotion research and practice and to participate in and make recommendations about policies, programs and standards.
  • Cancer Council Australia - is a non government organisation focusing on the control of cancer. The site contains information about cancer, cancer prevention and early detection as well as research and publications including clinical practice guidelines.
  • Diabetes Australia - a not for profit organisation focusing on the needs of people with diabetes, the site contains links to resources including educational material, publications and national evidence based guidelines for the treatment of diabetes.
  • Dietitians Association of Australia - provides information for the consumer and health professional. Under Student Project Links has a list of relevant sites for tertiary study.
  • Heart Foundation - focuses on research about diseases of the heart. Contains information for the health professional including evidence based working papers in nutrition and guidelines for dieticians.
  • Nutrition Australia - community education organisation providing research based information on nutrition.
  • Nutrition Society of Australia - members include scientists, health professionals and educators. Aim is to promote nutrition science. Has links to similar organisations.
  • Public Health Association of Australia - aims to contribute towards research, development and training in public health and also participate in public health policy. Provides a link to SIG (Special Interest Group) forums on nutrition and health promotion.
