Physics

Scope: Physics is a major branch of modern science that provides an understanding of the physical world and is the foundation of many other branches of science and technology. The discipline of physics ranges from the very practical, such as explanation of modern electronic and photonic devices, to probing the nature of our universe. The School of Physics is based on the Clayton campus and physics teaching and research is concentrated in Clayton and is supported mainly by the Hargrave-Andrew Library.
